Abstract: ABSTRACT Mobile Soil-Moisture Guided Rover for Targeted Precision Irrigation The present invention relates to a mobile soil-moisture guided rover for targeted precision irrigation (100) comprising an ESP32 microcontroller (1), Bluetooth module (3), soil-moisture sensor (4), battery (5), relay module (6), DC water pump (7), water tank (8), servo motor (9), sprinkler/nozzle (10), L298N motor driver (11), DC motors (12, 13) and rover chassis (14). The soil-moisture sensor (4) senses moisture at a field location and provides a corresponding signal to the microcontroller (1), which compares the sensed moisture with a predefined threshold. When the moisture is below the threshold, the microcontroller (1) activates the relay module (6) and DC water pump (7) to supply water from the water tank (8) through the sprinkler/nozzle (10). The servo motor (9) adjusts the sprinkler direction for localized watering. The rover chassis (14) is movable through the motor driver (11) and DC motors (12, 13) using Bluetooth commands from a user device (2), enabling targeted irrigation at different field locations while reducing unnecessary water usage.
