MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611081631 A) filed by Credenta Technologies Private Limited on July 02, 2026, for Mobile Physiological Signal Integrity Platform For Authentication Gating.
Inventors include Kumar, Ravit; and Mann, Sakshi.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: A mobile physiological signal integrity system (400) executes on a mobile device and receives optical frames (402) from a camera and an inertial signal from an accelerometer (422). A temporal alignment engine (428) resamples the inertial signal to the camera frame rate by timestamp-based interpolation. A signal-quality engine (410) computes a composite signal quality index as a weighted sum of signal-to-noise, contact-stability, motion-coherence, direct-current-drift and brightness sub-indices. A thermal scan guard (412) detects a warm-finger artefact; a frame-timing validator (414) flags timing deviations; and an interruption-aware scan state machine (416) transitions among scanning, interrupted, resuming, invalid and terminated states (430, 432, 434, 436, 438) upon application-lifecycle pre-emption. A gating module (418) gates a downstream processing stage (420) on these cooperating mechanisms and emits structured abstention codes under a failure-to-abstain policy, preventing downstream covariance divergence and waste of processor and memory resources on corrupted captures. The system is non-diagnostic.
