MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611081817 A) filed by Credenta Technologies Private Limited on July 02, 2026, for Mobile Physiological Coercion Detection And Free Consent Verification For Financial Transactions.

Inventors include Kumar, Ravit; and Mann, Sakshi.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: A method of operating a mobile computing device for physiological coercion detection and free-consent verification in a financial transaction, using only the device's rear-facing camera, a hardware secure element, and a motion sensing unit. After explicit informed consent, a fingertip photoplethysmography scan is gated by a multi- component signal quality index. Physiological features including heart rate, RMSSD, respiratory sinus arrhythmia, sample entropy, and pulse morphology are normalised against user-specific Bayesian personal baselines stratified by circadian bucket. A probabilistic multi-state autonomic classifier outputs a state posterior, and a Bayesian contextual disambiguator fuses it with transaction metadata over a plurality of interaction-context classes. A breath-hold detector flags coached respiratory manipulation. The physiological verdict and a physiological validity index are packaged with a transaction-document hash, user hash, and server nonce, and signed by a device-bound private key resident in the hardware secure element. No raw physiological data leaves the device.
