Inventors include Mr. Ishan Pavase; Mr. Ayush Agarwal; Mr. Kashyap Gohil; Mr. Deep Joisher; Mr. Sohamm Shheth; Dr. Nilakshi Jain; and Dr. Shwetambari Borade.
The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: A mobile communication device and a corresponding method for on-device multilingual fraud detection and classification of short message service (SMS) communications are disclosed. A communication interface unit retrieves a protocol data unit associated with an incoming SMS communication and provides decoded sender information and message content for analysis prior to persistence within a native messaging repository. A processing unit performs header-based evaluation of sender identifiers, correlates promotional communications with urgency-associated expressions, and generates normalized semantic representations through selective on-device translation of multilingual message content. Inference probability values are generated using a quantized neural inference process employing a graph representation having tensor shape descriptors removed from tensor entries. Temporal indicators and associated action expressions are evaluated to generate contextual significance values. A communication classification score and an override classification are generated to produce a classification outcome corresponding to the SMS communication.
