Abstract: A mobile bioprocessing module (1) for performing a bioprocess, comprising a bioreactor vessel support section (2) configured for supporting a, preferably expandable, bioreactor vessel (3) for containing a culture medium and/or cell culture, an agitation device (4) for agitating the bioreactor vessel (3), and a control device (5) for controlling the mobile bioprocessing module (1), preferably for controlling the bioprocess performed by the mobile bioprocessing module (1), is presented and described. In order to provide a mobile bioprocessing module (1) with improved handling and/or design it is proposed that the mobile bioprocessing module (1) comprises at least one module interface section (22) for detachably connecting the bioprocessing module (1) to a bioprocessing unit (34) and in that the module interface section (22) comprises, preferably consists of, at least one module power interface (23) for receiving power for the mobile bioprocessing module (1), at least one module data interface (24) for receiving data for and/or transmitting data from the mobile bioprocessing module (1) and/or at least one module gas interface (25) for receiving gas for and/or transferring gas from the mobile bioprocessing module (1). Also presented and described are a bioprocessing unit (34) and bioprocessing system (36) for performing a bioprocess.
