Inventors include Navya V K; Sai Krisha P; and Sadhana D.

The application for the patent was published on September 04, 2026, under issue no. 36/2026.

Abstract: The proposed invention is a small wearable system intended for infants and young children. Instead of making the child wear a completely different type of garment, the idea uses a patch that can be fixed to a normal shirt. The patch contains a thermochromic colour indicator, a reusable temperature and heart rate sensors. This information is sent to a mobile application through Bluetooth. The key point of the invention is the way the temperature information is understood. The system first uses an initial period learning the normal/typical temperature pattern of the individual child. That pattern becomes the individual baseline. New readings can be compared with it, while heart rate is included as another useful measure.
