Abstract: Mixer-Grinder Compatible Centrifugal Device for Rapid Separation of Whey from Milk Coagulum The present invention relates to a mixer-grinder compatible implant device (100) for rapid removal of whey from milk coagulum. The device (100) comprises a perforated drum (102) having a plurality of perforations (104) and a bottom disc (106) provided with a concentric square cut-out (108) for non-rotatable engagement with a mixer-grinder shaft, and drainage perforations (110). A removable filter liner (112) is disposed within the drum (102) to permit passage of whey while retaining curd solids. The drum (102) is coupled to a shaft (114) and enclosed within a casing (116) forming a substantially closed chamber, the casing including a removable top cover (118) and an outlet (120) for whey collection. Upon rotation at speeds of 7,000 rpm to 15,000 rpm, centrifugal force enables separation of whey within 8 to 12 minutes with reduced contamination and evaporative losses. The device provides improved whey recovery while maintaining chakka yield.
