Abstract: Misinformation Propagation Modeling Using Multi-Agent Simulation and NLP are the proposed invention. The invention presented describes a computer-implemented system and method for modelling, analysing, and forecasting the spread of misinformation across digital communication networks by integrating a Multi-Agent Simulation (MAS) framework with Natural Language Processing (NLP). The invention uses the transformer based language understanding to evaluate the semantic characteristics, credibility, emotional intensity and contextual relevance of the textual content before introducing it into a virtual social network populated by autonomous agents exhibiting heterogeneous behavioural profiles. Each agent dynamically adjusts its information sharing decisions based on trust relationship, cognitive bias, susceptibility, social influence, history interactions and real time feedback. The behavioural adaptation is driven by reinforcement, which allows the agents to continuously adapt their dissemination strategies according to the network evolution. Our proposed framework identifies misinformation super-spreaders, vulnerable communities and high-risk propagation pathways, and generates predictive risk scores and intervention recommendations. The invention provides an explainable, scalable and adaptive platform for evaluating misinformation control strategies applicable to social media governance, public policy, cybersecurity, healthcare communication, and emergency information management.
