MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641093595 A) filed by Dr. Ohmini Krishnamurthy Rajendran on August 01, 2026, for Microgravity-Adaptive Intelligent Surgical Decision Support And Physiological Stabilization Platform For Autonomous Space Medicine.

Inventor includes Dr. Ohmini Krishnamurthy Rajendran.

The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of a microgravity-adaptive intelligent surgical decision support and physiological stabilization system for autonomous space medicine, developed to make medical intervention possible and safe for astronauts during prolonged periods of space travel. The system is based on the combination of artificial intelligence, physiological sensors, imaging technology, robotic surgery, and predictive analytics used to constantly monitor the state of astronauts' health and provide clinical decision support in microgravity conditions. Multi-modal physiological information that includes cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological and biochemical information is processed with the help of adaptive machine learning to identify medical emergencies, evaluate surgical risks, and develop optimal treatment strategies. Physiological Stabilization module operates autonomously to regulate vital functions of the patients prior to, during, and after surgery. Patient Modeling using digital twins and Mission-Aware Resource Optimization increase precision and reliability. FIG.1
