Abstract: ABSTRACT Microalgae-Based Multi-Source Renewable Energy Harvesting Carbon Capturable Artificial Tree A modular artificial tree for carbon capture, biofuel production and energy generation comprises a base unit, a stem unit and a top unit. The base unit (101) has an air inlet (102) for allowing air to enter a suction Chamber (103), adjacent to which lies the primary, secondary and tertiary aerogel chambers (104, 105, 106) for adsorption of CO2. The air is further purified in an air filtration chamber (107) inside said base unit and exits through the air outlet (117), into aerogel recycling chamber (108) at the bottom portion of base (1) for collecting and storing the released CO2 in CO2 collection chamber (113) and CO2 storage chamber (114) respectively. The stem (118) is integrated with the base unit and houses a microalgae unit (119). The microalgae unit is configured to utilize CO2 for biofuel production and oxygen release. A top energy harvesting unit is integrated atop the stem unit having both wind (138) and solar (143) components for generating and storing renewable energy. A method for operating the system is also disclosed.
