Abstract: The present disclosure discloses methods and systems for enhancing performance of a UE using a network observation score (NOS). The method includes collecting a plurality of network-related parameters from at least one serving cell or a neighbouring cell. The method includes selecting a subset of network-related parameters from among the plurality of network-related parameters. The method includes assigning a weight to each network-related parameter in the selected subset of network-related parameters based on at least one of corresponding relevance to the current UE context, the network conditions, and requirement of the one or more applications running on the UE. The method includes computing the NOS based on a weighted combination of the selected subset of network-related parameters. The method also includes providing the NOS to the one or more applications to enable the one or more applications to take one or more actions based on the NOS.
