Abstract: Embodiments provide methods and systems for dynamically managing access to media content for users. The method implemented by the system includes determining an expected traffic on a payment platform based on one or more users streaming the media content within the limited-access duration. Herein, the expected traffic indicates users expected to be redirected to the payment platform on expiry of limited-access duration. In response to determining that the expected traffic is greater than predetermined threshold load, the method includes identifying a subset of users based on a propensity metric corresponding to each user. Herein, the propensity metric indicates a likelihood of a particular user subscribing to a streaming service offered by the digital media platform. Method includes facilitating the digital media platform to update the limited-access duration for the subset of users by a predefined duration. Herein, updating the limited-access duration includes either extending or reducing the limited-access duration.
