Abstract: ABSTRACT METHODS AND RELATED APPARATUS FOR RE-ESTABLISHMENT There is disclosed a method comprising: determining, at UE apparatus, that a Next-Hop Chaining Counter, NCC, for handover to a candidate cell apparatus has not been provided; and based on the determination, requesting Random Access Channel-less, RACH-less, re-establishment with the candidate cell apparatus. The method may further comprise: receiving a fast re-establishment indication being an indication that UE apparatus, instead of completing handover to a candidate cell apparatus, can request RACH-less re-establishment with the candidate cell apparatus, wherein the requesting RACH-less re-establishment with the candidate cell apparatus is based on both the determination that an NCC for handover to a candidate cell apparatus has not been provided and the receiving of the fast re-establishment indication.
