Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to method and apparatus for IoT communication. A first communication device may receive a first burst for a transmission, wherein the first burst indicates a target device ID and a first pilot; determine whether the first burst is targeted for the first communication device based on the target device ID and a device ID of the first communication device; determine whether the first burst is used for transmitting DL data or UL scheduling information; in response to determining that the first burst is targeted for the first communication device and is used for transmitting DL data, decode the DL data carried by the first burst; and in response to determining that the first burst is targeted for the first communication device and is used for transmitting UL scheduling information, transmit first UL data based on the UL scheduling information.
