MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617056619 A) filed by Interdigital Ce Patent Holdings, Sas on May 04, 2026, for Method To Split A Neural Network Model Graph.
Inventors include Filoche, Thierry; Onno, Stephane; and Quinquis, Cyril.
The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.
Abstract: In an example method, a first endpoint obtains information describing a graph structure of a machine learning, ML, model, wherein the ML model has a plurality of nodes. The first endpoint obtains split point information indicating a split of the ML model into at least a first sub-model and a second sub-model, each of the nodes being in one of the sub-models, wherein the split point information identifies a node of the ML model as a split point node. The first endpoint obtains at least a first sub- model output by executing the first sub-model on a model input and sends the first sub-model output from the first endpoint to a second endpoint. The second endpoint may execute the second sub-model on the outputs of the first sub-model to obtain a model output.
