The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: METHOD TO IDENTIFY AND QUANTIFY DIFFERENT POLYMER PHASES IN A POLYMER BLEND A method (100) is disclosed to identify and quantify contribution of different polymer phases in a polymer blend. The method (100) comprises generating images of different polymer phases using an atomic force microscopy. A tapping mode of the atomic force microscopy is used in generating phase images of different polymer phases. The method (100) comprises evaluating the generated images to obtain data relating to at least one of image contrast, phase angle or Histogram plot profile. Multiple Gaussian distribution curves are generated by deconvoluting the Histogram plot profile using multi-peak fit analysis. The area under the multiple Gaussian distribution curves segregated by utilizing their phase angle and color contrast is estimated to identify and quantify contribution of each polymer phase in the blended polymer.
