MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441025220 A) filed by Carborundum Universal Limited on March 28, 2024, for Method Of Preparing Graphene Conductive Paste From Chemically Exfoliated Rgo.

Inventors include Jabeen Fatima Manamkeri Jaffarali; Premnath Kunnath Nelloli; Ponnarassery Sukumaran Jayan; and Sivakumaran Maruvakkat Vasudevan.

The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD OF PREPARING GRAPHENE CONDUCTIVE PASTE FROM CHEMICALLY EXFOLIATED rGO The present invention provides for a method of preparing graphene paste from 5 chemically exfoliated rGO. The method involves mechanical mixing and probe sonication in a water medium with surfactants, resulting in a stable, conductive paste suitable for various industrial applications. The method provides a graphene-based conductive paste that may be added to various matrices like epoxy, PF, siloxane etc. and can be coated or casted which enhances the 10 conductivity of the matrix. The coatings or castings can be used for various applications like conductive additive, anti-static material, ESD coatings, thermal dissipative paints, EMI shielding coatings, sensors, solar cells, batteries, fuel cells, supercapacitors, +lexible electronics, RFID etc.
