Abstract: A method of performing maintenance for one or more hoist assemblies (106A-N) at a maintenance rail profile (112) of a crane assembly (100) includes (a) positioning one or more lock plates (116A-N) of a pair of split profile assemblies (114A and 114B) to an open position, (b) removing one or more coupling rods (120A-N) from at least one of (i) one or more mounting bracket (118A-N) or (ii) one or more supporting plates (136A-N), (c) de-coupling the at least one split profile assembly from the plurality of structured crane rails, (d) moving the one or more hoist assemblies to a defined position where the maintenance rail profile is positioned, and (e) performing maintenance on a hoist assembly from the one or more hoist assemblies on the maintenance rail profile where the split profile assembly is decoupled.
