Abstract: Methods of using pre-configured AI/ML (artificial intelligence/machine learning) based model dataset adaptation in wireless mobile communication system including base stations (e.g., gNB) and mobile stations (e.g., UE). If an AI/ML model is applied to a radio access network, signaling of model dataset information exchange can be heavily congested based on different model execution environments with varying models when a model drift occurs. Therefore, model operation (e.g., model re- training/updating) can be set up between the network and the UE by selecting different subset(s) of features/datasets adaptively.
