The application for the patent was published on July 24, 2026, under issue no. 30/2026.

Abstract: Provided is a method for producing seamless capsules by a dropping process, the method making it possible to stably produce seamless capsules less apt to suffer film breakage. In this method for producing seamless capsules, use is made of a capsule production device equipped with: concentric multiple nozzles comprising, provided concentrically from the inner side, a filling nozzle and a film nozzle and optionally further including one or more intermediate nozzles disposed between the filling nozzle and the film nozzle; and a formation pipe in which capsule droplets ejected from an ejection port of the concentric multiple nozzles are coagulated in a flowing coagulating liquid. In the formation pipe, two kinds of capsule particles, i.e., main-capsule particles and sub-capsule particles, are formed. The main-capsule particles have a larger particle diameter than the sub-capsule particles. When the formation ratio of the main-capsule particles is taken as 1, then the formation ratio of the sub- capsule particles exceeds 0.5. Also provided is a use of the seamless capsules.
