MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411104636 A) filed by Nezeca Tech Private Limited on December 30, 2024, for Method For Separation Of Lewis Acid Gas Using Centrifugal Electro-Mechanical System.
Inventors include Sidhant Kumar; and Gagandeep Singh.
The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for separation of Lewis Acid Gas using Centrifugal Electro-Mechanical system which comprises sorbent containing hydroxyl group and amine groups as R1-NH-R2-OH and/or R3-N-R4R5-OH. The present invention also provides a method for preparing the sorbent and a system for separating the Lewis gas from the gas mixture. The system for Lewis gas separation includes a centrifugal reactor and an electromechanical system. The sorbent is fed into the centrifugal reactor through the sorbent inlet (101). The gas mixture containing carbon dioxide is fed into the centrifugal reactor (100) through the inlet for the gas mixture (102). The centrifugal reactor comprises a rotating porous and voids filled component driven by a rotary actuator (106), at 400 rpm to 1000 rpm. The treated gas and the sorbent are collected from the outlet for treated gas (104) and sorbent outlet (103) respectively.
