In the method of the present disclosure, a terminal receives first indication information to learn of a UE behavior indicated by a network device, so that an adaptive operation can be performed during the process of the terminal managing an AI model or AI function, thereby facilitating an improvement to the rationality of the terminal managing the AI model or AI function when the terminal has reached a consensus with the network device by means of negotiation.
