Inventors include Bouzon Lionel; Benhari Abdessalam; and Seroul Pierre.
The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.
Abstract: One aspect of the invention relates to a computer-implemented method for scheduling a plurality of tasks (J) within a high-performance computer (1), comprising: - Performing a machine learning prediction of the energy required to execute each task based on at least one characteristic of the task, - Performing a machine learning prediction of the evolution over a predefined period of carbon dioxide levels emitted by the energy used to power the high-performance computer (1), - Scheduling the tasks: - Defining a task execution order by prioritizing the tasks with a lowest predicted energy requirement from the tasks of the plurality of tasks when the carbon dioxide level is greater than a threshold level over the predefined period, - Executing, by the high-performance computer (1), the plurality of tasks in the defined order of execution.
