The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for producing a sintered ore, with which good reducibility can be achieved by forming a specific amount of pores inside even in cases where a sintered ore is produced using an ore that has a low crystal water content. Provided is a method for producing a sintered ore from a sintering starting material in which 15.0 mass% or more of iron ores that each have an iron content of 58.00 mass% or more, a crystal water content of not less than 4.00 mass% but less than 9.00 mass%, an Al2O3 content of 2.00 mass% or more, and an SiO2 content of less than 5.00 mass% are added, and the total crystal water contained in all the added iron ores is not less than 0.0 mass% but less than 3.0 mass%. The average particle diameter of all the iron ores added in the sintering starting material is 2.0 mm or less.
