Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for producing flaked graphite, in which the yield of flaked graphite is increased. This method for producing flaked graphite includes: a step 1 for carrying out a wet jet mill treatment on an object to be treated that contains one type selected from the group consisting of graphite and a graphite compound and a first organic solvent that is an aprotic organic solvent to obtain a product containing flaked graphite; and a step 2 for mixing the product with at least one type of specific solvent selected from the group consisting of water and a protic organic solvent to obtain a mixed liquid, and separating flaked graphite from the mixed liquid.
