MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617067108 A) filed by Innovative Sensor Technology Ist AG on May 28, 2026, for Method For Producing A Receiving Device For An Aerosol-Generating Device, Receiving Device, And Aerosol-Generating Device.
Inventors include Schlpfer, Pascal; and Wolf, Stefan.
The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a receiving device for an aerosol-generating device, said receiving device being designed to receive a product to be converted to the gas phase. The method has the steps of: - providing at least two partial shells, in particular partial shells which have identical dimensions and which form a substantially cylindrical body in the assembled state, each of the partial shells being injection molded and consisting of a plastic which can be injection molded; - applying one or more functional elements, in particular a temperature sensor and/or a heating element, onto the partial shells by means of a printing method, wherein each of the functional elements is printed onto at least one sub-region of the concave inner face of the corresponding partial shell in a flowable state; - thermally fixing the functional elements which are printed onto the partial shells in the flowable state; and - connecting the partial shells in a form-fitting, force-fitting, and/or bonded manner. The invention also relates to a receiving device for an aerosol-generating device and to an aerosol-generating device which comprises a receiving device according to the invention.
