Inventors include Mr Nitin Shinde; Dr. P. Swamy Naga Ratna; Dr. Manisha Surve; and Ms Sirangi Bhavani.

The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT Disclosed herein is a method (100) for preparation of surface-modified recycled concrete aggregates, the method (100) comprising providing recycled concrete aggregates, cleaning the recycled concrete aggregates to remove loose particles, dust, debris and other unwanted materials, preparing an aqueous surface- treatment material comprises a graphene oxide dispersed in an aqueous medium and a cementitious binder, contacting the cleaned recycled concrete aggregates with the aqueous surface-treatment material to modify surfaces of the recycled concrete aggregates, maintaining contacted recycled concrete aggregates for a predetermined adsorption period, incorporating the surface-modified recycled concrete aggregates into a cementitious mixture including remaining cement, fine aggregate, water and chemical admixtures and mixing and curing the cementitious mixture to produce recycled aggregate concrete. The method may include the graphene oxide is dispersed in the aqueous medium by using mechanical stirring and present in the aqueous surface-treatment material in an amount ranging from 0.01 percent to 0.1 percent by weight.
