Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF FOREST FIRES A method (100) for prediction of forest fires, the method (100) comprising the steps of receiving, via one or more environmental sensors, a real-time meteorological data including temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, and rainfall, processing the real-time meteorological data into a dataset suitable for training a deep learning model, training a Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) network on the dataset, the LSTM network learns to predict the occurrence of forest fires and the size of the burnt area, predicting the occurrence and burnt area of a forest fire based on the real-time meteorological data using the trained LSTM network and issuing an early warning based on the fire prediction, including information on fire likelihood and predicted burnt area.
