Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for oligomerising an olefin feedstock, the method comprising the following steps: a) injecting, into a tubular loop reactor, at least the olefin feedstock and a catalytic system, wherein the olefin feedstock is injected by an injection means located at a position A in the reactor, and forming a liquid phase that flows continuously through the reactor; b) drawing the products of the oligomerisation reaction through a drawing means located at a position B in the reactor, wherein the position B is located at a distance from the position A of between 70.00% and 99.99% of the total length of the loop of the reactor in the direction of flow of the liquid phase within the reactor. The present invention also relates to a tubular loop reactor for implementing the method according to the invention.
