MUMBAI, India, Sept. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617082184 A) filed by Rittec. Umwelttechnik Gmbh on July 03, 2026, for Method For Obtaining Aromatic Dicarboxylic Acids.

Inventors include Mller, Clemens; Scholl, Stephan; and Eichert, Carsten.

The application for the patent was published on September 04, 2026, under issue no. 36/2026.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for obtaining aromatic dicarboxylic acids from an exhaust stream of a depolymerization reaction of polycondensates, which contain metal carboxylates of the aromatic dicarboxylic acids to be obtained, wherein a first aromatic dicarboxylic acid on which the polycondensate is based is precipitated from the exhaust stream at a first pH value, and after a subsequent solid-liquid separation, another aromatic dicarboxylic acid on which the polycondensate is based is precipitated from a liquid phase, which is obtained by means of the solid-liquid separation, at a second pH value that is lower than the first pH value.
