The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.

Abstract: This method for measuring the level of molten material inside a blast furnace comprises: a measurement step for measuring a vibrational frequency distribution in the height direction of a furnace body of the blast furnace using multiple vibration indicators disposed at predetermined intervals along the height direction of the furnace body; a vibrational intensity calculation step for calculating a vibrational intensity within a frequency range originating from a blast at each measurement position through Fourier transformation of the vibrational frequency distribution; a numerical value analysis step for calculating a maximum vibrational intensity distribution in a lower part of the blast furnace, which includes a furnace body iron shell, a packed bed in the blast furnace, a furnace floor brick, and a coagulation layer of the molten material in the blast furnace, using a numerical value analysis model with the blast amount and the level of molten material inside the blast furnace as variables; and a molten material level calculation step for calculating the level of molten material at which the difference between the vibrational intensity calculated in the vibrational intensity calculation step and the maximum vibrational intensity distribution calculated in the numerical value analysis step is minimized, and setting the calculated molten material level as the position of the level of molten material inside the blast furnace.
