Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD FOR MANAGING AUXILIARY BRAKES OF VEHICLES AND SYSTEM THEREOF This disclosure relates to an auxiliary braking system (100). The auxiliary braking system (100) includes an electromagnetic brake (102). The electromagnetic brake (102) further includes an electromagnet assembly (106). The electromagnet assembly (106) includes at least one pair of arms corresponding to opposite magnetic poles. Each arm of the at least one pair of arms is positioned on opposite sides of an axle shaft of a vehicle. The auxiliary braking system (100) further includes a power supply (108) connected to the electromagnetic brake (102). The auxiliary braking system (100) further includes a Vehicle Electronic Control Unit (VECU) (110) connected to the power supply (108). The VECU (110) is configured to determine a braking magnitude corresponding to the electromagnetic brake (102) based on at least one driving parameter. The VECU (110) is further configured to manage the electromagnetic brake (102) based on the determined braking magnitude through the power supply (108). [
