Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD FOR DEVELOPING PUNARNAVINE-BASED CREAM FOR FIRST-DEGREE BURN RELIEF Disclosed herein a method (200) for developing a Punarnavine-based cream for first-degree burn relief, the method comprises extracting Punarnavine from Boerhavia diffusa using a solvent extraction technique. The method further comprises preparing a hydrophilic cream base comprising water, emulsifiers, and stabilizers. Further, incorporating the extracted Punarnavine into the hydrophilic base under controlled temperature and pH conditions. Further, homogenizing the mixture to form a uniform cream. Further, conducting physicochemical assessments to ensure consistency, pH stability, and spreadability and performing in-vitro evaluations to confirm anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and wound-healing efficacy.
