Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD FOR DETECTING SUICIDAL INTENTIONS IN TEXT A method (100) for detecting suicidal intentions in text, the method (100) comprising collecting a dataset of text samples associated with suicidal ideation, preprocessing the collected text data to obtain a preprocessed text data, applying machine learning protocols to identify key linguistic features in the text, training a machine learning model on the preprocessed text data to classify the dataset of text samples as suicidal or not, evaluating the performance of the model based on accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity; and deploying the trained model to detect suicidal intent in real-time textual communications.
