MUMBAI, India, June 19 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617058195 A) filed by Rmer Frdertechnik Gmbh on May 07, 2026, for Method For Damping Impulses On Track Rollers.

Inventors include Rmer, Christiane; and Wagener, Christoph.

The application for the patent was published on June 05, 2026, under issue no. 23/2026.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for damping an impulse on a track roller, and to a damping pad according to the invention. In the method, a track roller, which rotates about a vertical axis on a rail, comes into engagement with a damping pad, which is arranged tangentially to the circumference of the track roller and is made of elastic material, when a radially acting impulse occurs. In order to improve the damping of the impulses during the action on the track roller, it is provided that the damping pad engagement surface facing the track roller has recesses and, when an impulse occurs, the damping pad is firstly deformed into a recess.
