A method for controlling steel sheet production facility includes: a mechanical characteristic prediction step (S3) for predicting mechanical characteristic values including the elongation value and the hole expansion rate of a steel sheet, on the basis of a steel sheet heating temperature in a tempering zone (16) measured by a temperature measurement device (20); a heat treatment condition calculation step (S4) for correcting the mechanical characteristic values predicted in the mechanical characteristic prediction step (S3) to target mechanical characteristic values of the steel sheet (S), and determining a heat treatment condition on the basis of the corrected mechanical characteristic values; and a heat treatment condition control step (S8) for controlling, on the basis of the heat treatment condition determined in the heat treatment condition calculation step (S4), the steel sheet heating temperature in at least a rapid heating zone (9) in continuous annealing equipment.
