Abstract: METHOD AND USER EQUIPMENT FOR HANDLING CONTROL SUBSCRIBER GROUP CELL SELECTION DURING DISASTER ROAMING SERVICES ABSTRACT The present disclosure provides a method (400) and a User Equipment (102) method for handling Control Subscriber Group (CSG) cell selection during disaster roaming services. The proposed method involves detecting, by a user equipment UE, (102), a loss of service on a first Public Land Mobile Network 106. Further the method involves detecting a second Public Land Mobile Network (108) broadcasting information related to Control Subscriber Group (CSG) cell for providing disaster roaming services and determining whether an identifier of the Control Subscriber Group (CSG) cell is present in at least one of an Allowed CSG list or an Operator CSG list stored in the UE (102). Furthermore, the method involves initiating, by the UE (102), a Non-Access Stratum (NAS) procedure for disaster roaming services on the CSG cell based on the determining.
