Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD AND SYSTEM TO RECTIFY ERRONEOUS LOG-GENERATING STATEMENTS IN SOURCE CODE This disclosure relates generally to method and system to rectify erroneous log-generating statements in source code. Source code logging is a practice widely adopted in several phases of software lifecycle. During software development log statements helps to verify and debug errors occurring in the software. The method of the present disclosure receives source code comprising one or more log statements generated during execution of log-generating source code expression. Further, a first LLM obtains the source code and fetches a distilled prompt generated for the source code from a second LLM. Further, the first LLM generate an analysis report with the one or more erroneous log statements. Finally, the analysis report is utilized to rectify one or more erroneous log statements in the source. [
