Inventors include Kumar, Amit; Dr. Avinash Ravi Raja; Meena, Mohit; Kumar, Atul; and Kadam, Prashik.

The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR VISION-GUIDED ROBOTIC WELDING WITH AUTOMATIC PARAMETER CONTROL A robotic welding system (100) includes a robotic arm (102) having a welding torch (104) mounted thereon, a camera (106) mounted on the robotic arm (102) ahead of the welding torch (104) and configured to capture images of a workpiece surface, a processor (108) configured to process the captured images to detect a welding path on the workpiece surface, extract path coordinates from the detected welding path, store the extracted path coordinates in a look-ahead buffer, and control movement of the robotic arm (102) based on the stored path coordinates to enable continuous welding along the welding path, and a parameter control unit (110) configured to automatically adjust welding parameters including at least one of voltage, current, and gas flow based on at least one of a material type and a thickness of the workpiece.
