Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR UPLINK MUTING INDICATION FOR SUBBAND NON-OVERLAPPING FULL-DUPLEX (SBFD) SLOTS The present disclosure relates to systems, devices, and methods for UL muting indication for SBFD slots. In the present disclosure, the gNB configures a muting symbol index for 10 interference measurement in PUSCH channel by generating a muting index. In particular, the gNB configures muting symbol indices ??????????,1 and ??????????,2 based on the given parameters K11, K21, and K22 and calculates the muting index. The gNB then provisions the number of required bits in the control channel to transmit the computed muting index and transmitting muting index using downlink control channel. UE in turn extracts the muting index from received 15 downlink control channel and uses it to calculate the muting symbol indices of slot and transmits the PUSCH signal with muted symbols. The gNB receives the PUSCH signal with muted resources and measures the CLI interference using its configured muting symbols to suppress the CLI interference. Fig. 3
