Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SUPPORTING RIDER SAFETY DURING ACCIDENTS IN POWERED TWO WHEELER VEHICLES Embodiments of present disclosure provide a method to detect the accident event and support to rider for medical emergency for Powered Two Wheelers (PTW). Through sensors such as IMU, speed, brake deceleration, the method identifies type of accident events, severity of accident event and based on that logic trigger emergency assist functionality for conscious or unconscious rider. This method also identifies false positives where emergency assist functionality is not required. The disclosed method analyzes severity of accident - medium or high speed accident, whether it is impact with object or PTW skid, activate emergency assist immediate or with some delay depending on severity of accidents, and also avoids false trigger.
