The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: A computer-implemented method and system for simultaneously optimizing the electromagnetic design of a family of N electric motor variants sharing a common stator lamination and rotor housing. For each candidate shared geometry, the method automatically selects integer winding configurations for all N variants, evaluates electromagnetic performance using numerical simulation, enforces constraints across all variants simultaneously, and computes an aggregate family fitness score. The shared geometry is iteratively optimized to produce one stator lamination design suitable for manufacture of a stamping die, and N winding specifications. A cross- variant constraint method ensures tooth flux density remains below saturation for all variants. The method also includes transferring trained surrogate models across motor families using dimensionless features and residual learning.
