Abstract: METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SELECTIVELY USING DIGITAL CAMERA DATA IN VEHICLES TO PROVIDE ENHANCED 5 PERCEPTION The present disclosure describes a method (500) and a system (110) for selectively utilizing digital data from digital cameras of a vehicle to provide enhanced perception. A control module (106) is configured to process event data captured 10 by an event camera module (102) to identify one or more initial Regions of Interest (ROIs) corresponding to one or more objects detected by the event camera module (102) and generate an initial priority list comprising at least one ROI, from the one or more initial ROIs, which satisfies one or more priority conditions. The control module is further configured to generate a final priority list comprising at least 15 one digital ROI by filtering out ROIs from the initial priority list which satisfy at least one predefined filtering condition and selectively utilize digital data associated with the digital ROIs for a predefined time duration for providing enhanced perception. 20 Fig: 2
