MUMBAI, India, June 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411089101 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. , Ltd. on November 18, 2024, for Method And System For Reconfiguring A Multi-Device Collaborative Environment.
Inventor includes Roy, Anupam.
The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.
Abstract: A method (900) for reconfiguring a Multi-Device Collaborative Environment (MDCE) is disclosed herein. The MDCE includes the host device (116) and one or more guest devices (118). The method (900) includes receiving (902) at least one Reorientation Broadcast Packet (RBP) from at least one reoriented device upon reorientation of the at least one of the one or more guest devices (118). Further, the method (900) includes determining (904) drift information associated with the at least one reoriented device based on the received RBP and a previous orientation of the one or more guest devices (118). Furthermore, the method (900) includes determining (906) a first topology by updating the corresponding position of the at least one reoriented device in the previous orientation based on the determined drift information. Furthermore, the method includes determining (908) a second topology when the first topology is different from a cached pre-computed Device Positioning History (DPH).
