Abstract: A computer-implemented system (108) and method for selection and evaluation of building and construction products for a project are disclosed. Input data comprising user-defined product search criteria, uploaded BOQs, project-specific parameters, and/or one or more digital project representations are received and transformed into standardized computational representations by normalization, parsing, construction quantity generation, and/or extraction of construction-related characteristics. Candidate products are retrieved from structured product records and matched with project-related information. Project-specific performance parameters are computed based on the standardized computational representations, and candidate products are verified against constraints derived from the computed project-specific performance parameters. Impact values are determined based on comparisons between baseline and candidate product configurations, and the technically valid candidate products are ranked using multi-criteria evaluation. Product schedules, generated or updated BOQs, procurement schedules, comparison reports, specification-ready documents, procurement-ready documents, or compliance reports are generated based on the ranked technically valid candidate products.
