MUMBAI, India, June 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411090146 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. , Ltd. on November 20, 2024, for Method And System For Pre-Calibration Of Smart Devices Based On User Movement In A Multi-Device Environment.
Inventors include Gupta, Shreya; and Meena, Natasha.
The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.
Abstract: Disclosed are a system and a method for pre-calibration of smart devices based on user movement in a multi-device environment. Firstly, user’s movement trajectory points are predicted based on user’s previous position, current position, and direction vector. Thereafter, out of a plurality of zones associated with the smart devices, a master zone and at least one slave zone is identified. After identifying a master zone and a slave zone, one or more exit points coordinates are determined for the master zone and one or more entry points coordinates are determined for a slave zone. The determined entry point coordinates are then transmitted to at least one second smart device such that the at least one second smart device pre-calibrates in advance.
