The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method (400) and system (108) for performing a random access channel (RACH) procedure in a network (106). The method includes receiving, by a network node, a request from a user equipment (UE) (104) to initiate the RACH procedure. The network node determines whether one or more network conditions of the UE (104) are below a preconfigured network condition threshold based on the received request. Based on the determination, the network node generates a downlink control information (DCI) message comprising a reserved bit set to a value the reserved bit with the set value indicates the UE (104) to use one of a default modulation and coding scheme table or a low SE table for the RACH procedure and the RRC transmission setup. The generated DCI message is transmitted to the UE (104) for performing the RACH procedure. FIG. 3
