Abstract: “METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PERFORMING OPTOMETRIC MEASUREMENTS” The present invention relates to a system and method for performing optometric measurements. The method comprising receiving an image of a subject, estimating a head alignment of the subject based on the received image. Further, in response to determining that the estimated head alignment is within a pre-defined threshold, identifying at least one of a characteristics associated with a pair of eyes of the subject, and an eyewear worn by the subject. Further identifying a centre of a pupil for each eye for the pair of eyes based on the identified characteristics. Further, determining a Pupillary Distance (PD) by calculating a distance between the centre of pupils of the pair of eyes. Further, determining a Fitting Height (FH) by calculating, for each eye, a distance between the centre of the pupil and the farthest point of the eyewear in the vertical direction. FIG. 2
