Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and system for optimizing research and development experimentations . The method comprises receiving characteristics of reference listed drug (RLD) and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) associated with the RLD and identifying a manufacturing process for the pharmaceutical product based on the API and characteristics of RLD received. The method further comprises generating notifications to at least one or more users to develop the pharmaceutical product using the API, one or more excipients associated with the API, and the identified manufacturing process. The method also comprises determining acceptance range of one or more values associated with properties of the pharmaceutical product and optimizing research and development experimentations based on the determination.
