The method comprises retrieving data associated with the at least one manufacturing process. The retrieved data comprises one or more of: structured data and unstructured data. Further the method comprises processing the retrieved data to identify one or more process parameters and determining one or more operational efficiency gaps for each of the one or more process 10 parameters based on a predefined criterion. The method further comprises determining one or more optimal actions corresponding to each operational efficiency gap, based on domain ontology created using the retrieved data and recommending the determined one or more optimal actions for optimizing the at least one manufacturing process. 15 Fig. 4
